Matthew Kaplan, project lead for the Human Origins Genotyping Laboratory at the University of Arizona, presents recent research findings from studies of Jewish genetics and Jewish population history. He will explain the biology behind DNA testing and give an overview of the DNA Shoah Project, a unique humanitarian effort to reunite survivors of the Holocaust.

Facilitators will be available after the talk to assist those interested in contributing their DNA to the project.
